Lunchtime Short Seminar No. 7

The seminar, entitled "Online Communities and the Metaverse," was held as a preparatory seminar to provide a deeper understanding of the symposium to be held on April 25th. It explained the evolution of patient understanding in the digital society and new research methods.

Special Seminar No. 3

We have explained the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Patient Focused Drug Development (PFDD) guidance series to YORIAILab members and clinical trial ambassadors. This time, we explained the important points of Guidance 1 and 2, which discuss Patient Experience Data in general.

 Lecture  Pharma IT Seminar

At the seminar held at Pharma IT & Digital Health Expo 2025 (Tokyo Big Sight) , he gave a lecture titled "How to utilize patient experience data in drug development and medical settings ."

 Video  Lunchtime Short Seminar No. 1

The recording of the first lunchtime short seminar "Patient Experience Data" held in October and November last year has been made public on YouTube . The first short seminar was held twice, so two recordings have been made public. Both sessions had roughly the same content.

 Article  Incurable Diseases and Home Care, April issue

In the article titled "Patient and Public Involvement in Medical Research and Development - Towards Social Co-creation of Medical Research and Development" (Katsui and Unuma), YORIAILab was introduced along with PPI JAPAN, Ji4pe, and PPEC as organizations engaged in collaborative (social co-creation) initiatives where patients, public and researchers are together participated.

Lunchtime Short Seminar No. 6

In this second installment of our series on clinical statistics, we explained the key points and methods for interpreting the results of clinical trials published in publicly available drug approval application documents and medical papers.

 Lecture  Metaverse Patient Advisory Board

At the Japan Society of Clinical Trials and Clinical Trials (Place: Pacifico Yokohama), we reported on a pilot study of a patient advisory board using the metaverse (a joint study between Nippon Medical School and Boehringer Ingelheim). A follow-up study (a qualitative cross-sectional study) is planned to be conducted by YORIAILab.​​​​​

We have published the 4th issue of our newsletter. It is packed with content, including a report on the 3rd Clinical Trial Ambassador Training, reports on seminars and academic presentations hosted by YORIAILab and upcoming plans, and the Clinical Trial Box series. Please take a look.​​​​​

Clinical Trial Ambassador IV Lecture

The 4th Clinical Trial Ambassador Training has started. The first module (first half of the lecture) has been completed.

 Lecture  Clinical Trial Ambassador Project

We collaborated in planning a learning event for the Osaka Incurable Disease Consultation and Support Center Public Symposium (at EL Osaka), and gave a lecture on the significance of patient and public involvement activities through the Clinical Trial Ambassador Project.​​​​​
