Conference and forum participation information
We aim to ensure that patients and the public are properly informed about drug development and clinical trials, and to implement patient and public involvement (PPI) in drug development in a fruitful manner.
This is a social co-creation project to deliver more valuable medical care to those who need it more quickly for patients and citizens.
Clinical Trial Ambassador Training
Starting in 2024, we will be introducing the following :
Participation is being expanded beyond just patient groups to include members of the public who want to deepen their understanding of drug development and clinical trials (excluding those who are professionally engaged in clinical trials).
Clinical trial ambassadors (those who have completed the first and second training sessions) also serve as lecturers and tutors.
The "Mock Clinical Trial Workshop" developed by AstraZeneca is used as part of the core curriculum.
To help people become more aware of clinical trials.
